ABOUT ME
Wade Casstevens is the Founder and Managing Partner of Linden Property Group, an Arlington, Virginia-based real estate investment and development firm focused on workforce and affordable housing across the Eastern United States. A workforce housing developer with deep experience in multifamily real estate, Wade specializes in the acquisition, rehabilitation, and repositioning of value-add multifamily properties serving households earning approximately 60 to 100 percent of area median income. Since founding Linden Property Group in 2010, he has led the firm’s strategy and growth, overseeing a diversified portfolio of workforce and affordable housing communities throughout the Mid-Atlantic.

Wade’s investment approach emphasizes physical rehabilitation, operational improvements, and long-term value creation, including experience with voucher-supported housing and LIHTC housing structures. His work is rooted in a belief that well-located, well-managed housing plays a critical role in economic stability and community health.
Prior to launching Linden Property Group, Wade Casstevens served as Senior Vice President at Federal Capital Partners, a national real estate private equity firm with $5 billion of assets under management. While there, he led the Development Investment Group and focused on multifamily real estate investments. Earlier in his career, he served as Development Director at Post Properties, where he entitled, planned, and developed $250 million of mixed-use projects in the Washington, D.C. metro area. Wade began his career at Bear Stearns Commercial Mortgage, financing commercial and multifamily real estate transactions.
Wade earned his MBA from Columbia Business School, where he received the Gus Grammas Memorial Scholarship for Finance, and holds a BA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He serves on the Advisory Board of The Wood Center for Real Estate Studies at UNC-Chapel Hill and chairs its Housing Affordability Initiative, which he helped establish. He has guest lectured on real estate and housing topics at George Mason University, UNC-Chapel Hill, the University of Maryland, and Georgetown University.
In addition to his professional work, Wade Casstevens is a partner at Cornerstone Schools in inner-city Washington, DC, where he supports student sponsorship and mentoring initiatives. His personal interests include cycling, music, and fishing. He lives in Arlington, Virginia, with his wife and three children.
